NATIONAL VETERANS ASSURANCE PROGRAM

The National Veterans Assurance Program (NVAP) is a special national program to help our Veterans and servicemen/women with their Medical Bill Management and Resolution - an advocacy service that informs and represents Our Vets and Soldiers.

This program is developed through Veteran Service Organizations (VSO) and offers a 5-fold benefit package:
  1. NVAP is provided as a membership service to assure veterans and their families that their medical bills will be reviewed, calculated, and paid properly, according to an accurate account of the service rendered.
  2. NVAP is also a Fund Raising service that EMC makes available to all the VSOs across the nation to receive part of the membership enrollment fees for each EMC Membership.
  3. NVAP assures that the Fund Raising is permanent by providing residual funds the following year when the EMC Membership is renewed.
  4. NVAP assures the potential for Fund Raising to grow each year by providing a NVAP Referral Form that can be used any time to enroll other Veterans and non-veterans - community support for the VSO and EMC.
  5. The NVAP/EMC Membership is offered to Our Veterans at $29 for individuals per year and at $39 for families per year.  This is a Veteran Platinum Program, so these rates will stay the same year after year.

How does the NVAP Actually work?
  1. The VSO representatives discuss the NVAP completely with Lynn Johnson (330-794-4451) to review all aspects of the program for complete understanding.
  2. A Point of Contact (POC) for the NVAP will be designated by the VSO for EMC contact.
  3. An NVAP Membership Drive is scheduled by the POS and VSO to last for a 30-day period, at which time all the VSO Veterans have the opportunity to enroll in NVAP/EMC Memberships for Medical Bill Management and Resolution Services, and to support their VSO's Fund Raising.
  4. At the end of the 30-day NVAP Membership Drive, the VSO will receive $5.00 of Fund Raising Dollars for each NVAP/EMC Membership.
  5. NVAP referral Forms will then be provided tot he POC for distribution to the VSO to refer other veterans and non-veterans throughout the year, for which the VSO will be provided $5.00 for each NVAP/EMC Membership.
  6. On the anniversary of the NVAP Membership Drive, the NVAP/EMC Memberships will be renewed and the VSO will again be provided with Fund Raising Dollars for all of those memberships that renew.  EMC will send renewal letter notices 30 days in advance.
  7. For those memberships from NVAP Referral Form, these will be random and therfore Fund Raising Dollars will also be provided at different calendar intervals.
  8. Special EMC forms will be provided to the VSO for the NVAP/EMC Membership enrollment, as well as benefit information and this NVAP Agreement form
  9. All form distribution and Fund Raising Dollars will be distributed to the VSOs' POC.
